who has weirder movie tastes? grand inquisitor or steve?

both are unfathomable.

if either said, i like hollywood movies and hell with art or foreign
films, they can be written off as philistines.

or, if they said we only like recent blockbuster movies but hate old
movies, then we can accept them as mainstream dolts.

but, here's steve championing bad sleep well, woman in the dunes,
amores perros while seeing NOTHING or little of value in seven
samurai, 8 1/2, bicycle thieves.

and there's grand inquisitor who deeply admires andrei rublev and
barry lyndon but prefers LOR and Star Trek to shakespeare and shits on
singing in the rain.

I used to hate Star Trek. Then I loosened up. Besides, I loved the
LotR novels before the movie was ever announced. It's not like I'm some
Matrix-worshipping frat boy who sees all the blockbusters.
