Just went to the movie theatre last night, and thanks to a thin crowd,
I was able to talk with the theatre manager for a few minutes. I was
wondering if he knew if his multiplex would be getting the rerelease
of Alien, and he didn't know yet if he'd be getting it.
Gadzooks, I don't work in the movie theatre industry, but shouldn't
they know what's happening in ten days or so? I mean, for advertising
and such?
Pretty sure he wasn't just blowing me off. We had a nice conversation
about the money he sank into advertising for Tomb Raider 2, and the
fact that he's still running Pirates of the Caribbean four months
later.
Ack. Hope I get to see this on the big screen SOMEhow before the DVD
box set comes out.
